11 O'Clock Tick Tock "is a song by the Irish band U2. The song was released in may 1980. The song is also on a single Touch. The single is produced by Martin HannettJoy Division 's).

The song title was originally Silver Lining. 11 O'Clock Tick Tock was first played live at a concert in August 1979 in the Howth Youth Club. The title refers to a note from Bono's friend Gavin Friday on the door of Bono's home after Bono had missed a meeting.
