AOP ⚡ TPTS is a split EP by German screamo bands Ashes Of Pompeii and Thoughts Paint The Sky. This EP is actually an untitled split EP, but includes the band name shortcuts with a thunder symbol on the cover artwork which is from the AOP band logo.
Background[]
Both bands, Ashes of Pompeii and Thoughts Paint The Sky, share a good relationship for years and started a common tour for summer and autumn/fall 2009.[1]
Release[]
The release is limited to 150 handnumbered copies and consist of self-recorded and handwritten CD-R wrapped in a paper bag for sweets with a folded DIN A4 paper including handwritten liner notes. Every band recorded two songs and one of them is a cover version of the other band.

Cover artwork[]
There are two different cover artworks. The band Thoughts Paint The Sky sold the one with a tapir and the green flash logo. The band Ashes Of Pompeii sold the one with a cervine and the light flash logo.
