A Little Light Music is a live album by the British progressive rock band Jethro Tull, released and recorded in 1992. The title is a nod to Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, as well as a short summary of the contents of the album: Jethro Tull music in a semi-acoustic jacket. It is the first live album since Live: Bursting Out what they produce on their own initiative because in his own words, this album really what add to their repertoire. Because of Ian Andersons voice problems they were more or less forced to do a semi-acoustic tour where relatively many songs played are instrumental. But the idea itself was already arose during a two week long promotion tour in early 1991 in the us where they played acoustic songs at various radio stations.

This tour was called just like the album A Little Light Music Tour, and amounted to 17 concerts in smaller rooms in England, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Czech Republic, Greece, Turkey and Israel. Because this is a semi-acoustic tour was ' a ' rock drummer and keyboard player were not needed, and so they invited Dave Mattacks of Fairport Convention to both the drums and keyboard to play in a more folk-style what he was used to.

On this tour followed the Light And Dark Tour, where the concerts consisted of a semi-acoustic hard rock first half and second half. Andrew Giddings and Doane Perry then came back in the band.
