Review[]
This is basically a one-disc boiled-down version of Dial-A-Song, with most of the rarities removed, and a couple more tracks from No! added. The main problem with this (aside from some really baffling omissions, like "Man, It's So Loud In Here") is that it doesn't flow at ALL—it sounds like a playlist put on shuffle. They didn't even take care to try to alternate John Linnell-sung and John Flansburgh-sung songs like they do on the actual albums. I'm not really a fan of starting with Greatest Hits albums, but if you're so inclined, just get Dial-A-Song instead. That's a really nice package, while this one just feels sort of slapped together. The liner notes do have some cool charts, though, but nothing too terribly enlightening to a non-fan. - Rev. Syung Myung Me
The first single-disc TMBG retrospective to span beyond their early years, and man, what a mess. It's not that there are many bad song choices (though really, "Clap Your Hands"?), it's just poorly assembled. The package goes to great lengths to parody a cold, mathematical approach to re-packaging - unfortunately, the sequencing of songs continues that theme, and doesn't do the material justice. --72.224.182.201
