Addicted To Love features Robert and a group of mini-skirted identical women with pale skin, strong makeup, and black hair as Palmer's backing band. Palmer recycled the video's "identical women" concept for the videos of three other songs; I Didn't Mean to Turn You On, Simply Irresistible and Change His Ways.

The video was very popular and was referenced/parodied in several videos, including Beyoncé's "Green Light", which shares many of the same elements. In Shania Twain's Man! I Feel Like A Woman!, the women are substituted for men dancing in the same way. Tone Lōc's Wild Thing, Bowling for Soup's 1985 and Weird Al Yankovic's UHF also parody Palmer's video.
