Alexandra Ashley Hughes, known by her stage name Allie X, is a Canadian singer-songwriter and producer. She began her career as an indie artist in Toronto in the mid-2000s, releasing a handful of self-released albums under the name Allie Hughes. After relocating to Los Angeles, California, she began working with producers Cirkut and Billboard and releasing new music under the name Allie X. Her debut single, "Catch", which also her first release under the name Allie X, was a massive success.
