Almost Blue is the sixth studio album by English singer-songwriter Elvis Costello, and the fifth with his backing band the Attractions. It was released on October 23, 1981 by F-Beat Records. Unlike the previous albums, which mainly comprised of new wave songs, the album's songs were consist of entirely country covers. This was also Costello's first album to not be produced by Nick Lowe.
