Antwan André Patton, better known as Big Boi (Savannah (Georgia), 1 February 1975) is an American rapper and member of hip hop group OutKast. He also has nicknames like: "Daddy Fat Sacks", "General Patton", "Sir Lucious Leftfoot l.", "Billy Ocean", "Hot Tub Tony" and "Francis the Savannah Chitlin' Pimp".

Antwan lived for part of his childhood in Savannah, but moved to the capital of Georgia: Atlanta. In the late 1980s when he was still in high school he met André Benjamin sat (André 3000), they formed the hip hop group OutKast and signed a contract with LaFace Records. In contrast to the more philosophical André 3000 and Big Boi RAPS more calm about partying and women, but also he raps about the issues that concern and the African American community about world problems, such as in the song ' war ' in which he the policy of George w. In 2003, Outkast released the album Speakerboxxx/The Love Below. This double album was in fact two solo albums, Big Boi's Speakerboxxx and André 3000 's The Love Below . Seven years later, on July 7, 2010, Big Boi released his first solo album, Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty. Several guest artists worked on the album, including George ClintonJamie Foxx and T.I.. However, the release of the album was plagued by disputes with Big Boi's record label.
