Eurobeat is a high-energy subgenre of electronic dance music that originated in Europe in the late 1980s. It is especially popular in Japan, where it became closely associated with the Para Para dance culture and later gained international recognition through the anime series Initial D. Eurobeat features fast BPMs, catchy melodies, synthesized vocals, and dramatic production.
