Genre Description[]

Electronic music genre originated in 90s,mix of italodisco,techno,hi-nrg, and hip hop.In 90s known as "Dancefloor" or "Euro", later as Bubblegum , Handsup this genre is a mix of dance, pop and techno. Popularized by Aqua ,Dr Alban , E-Rotic ,Real McCoy and many more,in 1996 the Eurodance had a huge fanbase this was only added too when Vengaboys released their first album. One of the most famous Eurodance songs is Barbie Girl. The genre is relatively unheard of these days due to the break-up of Aqua in 2001 though it still has a large fanbase. Though Aqua reunited in 2007 it is unlikely the genre will again be as popular as it was in the 90's.
