Softrock (also known as light rock or easy rock) is a music genre in which the same techniques as in the rock music be used, but to a lesser degree.
The voices are voted and the lyrics are often higher in softrock often about love, everyday life and relationships.

Softrock originated in the 1970s in response to the punk and heavy metal. In the years that followed, the flow was extremely popular; some radio stations even turned softrock. Even bands (Fleetwood Mac, Chicago) that formerly made rock music, now make softrock went. In the 80 's lost the flow in popularity, though there are still artists who make the music.
