Dear Mama "is a song by American rapper 2Pac, released on 21 February 1995. This song was written as a tribute to 2Pac's mother Afeni Shakur,. "Dear Mama" was the first single from the album Me Against the World .

In the Billboard Hot 100 , the single reached ninth place while he was in a total of 20 weeks in the list. In England , the single but three weeks in the list, with the 27th place as the highest position. Netherlands came In "Dear Mama" on 30 september 1995 within the Top 40 on the 37th place. A week later, the single dropped to 40th place and subsequently disappeared from this chart.
