Roberto Sosa Pérez better known by his stage name DjBlack CapsulaMusic (Aguada de Pasajeros, Cienfuegos, Cuba, September 28, 1989) is a rapper, singer, composer and record producer of Cuban origin. He is mainly recognized for fusing sounds from his country with other genres and rhythms from different latitudes of the world.

Early life[]

Roberto was born in on September 28, 1989 in the bosom of a humble and small family, being one of two brothers. As a child he had a penchant for music influenced by his father, who is a drummer and amateur timpanist. In his adolescence he was already participating in curricular and extracurricular activities supporting the culture in his hometown.[1]

Career[]

The Beginning[]

In 2005, he underwent the entrance tests of the Octavio García Hernández School of Art Instructors in Cienfuegos, Cuba, passing the specialties of dance, plastic arts and music. During his studies he excelled in bongos, a percussion instrument that opened the way for him to enter the musical group "Son Jóvenes" in 2006. While in the group he participated in cultural activities at the Hotel Pasacaballos dedicated to patients at that time from the Miracle Mission. She studied computer science at school with a leaning towards computer science and learned to work on the software FL Studio 3 creating music. In 2008, he graduated from Bachelor of Humanities and discovered that he could exploit his musical quotient as a producer and DJ. He has worked ever since preparing for future events.

Trajectory[]

In May 2010, he founded the small company Sound Family Music in order to spread the music of the best groups that were working at that time in his native municipality and province. He collaborated in the municipal Aguada Radio station, broadcasting music and supported different groups, giving him the opportunity to start as a collaborator of youth radio programs.

In 2011, he began to obtain results by placing his musical projects[2] in the preference of the public who listened to him by disseminating works on social networks such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube and SoundCloud and digital platforms.

In September 2012, he changed the name and concept of his old project Sound Family Music to the Capsula Music and positioned himself as owner, CEO, producer and DJ.

Collaborations[]

In 2012, he collaborated with several artists such as: Los Gladiadores, Felino Y Los Guerreros, Futurístico, Trey Cuban, DonCu (Trapdunga), Bethsy, Anubix, Carluchi, Wajiro Style, Royal Cantautor, Kingo Fary, Kapi The Big among others[3][4]. His recognition came in 2018 where he collaborated with the artist El Uniko on the song “No Más Mentiras”[5] which managed to position him in the public eye. [6][7]

Currently[]

In 2021 and 2022 he published his most recent records such as: Beatlinguee, Beatlinguee 2 and Killing The Beat, compilations of his creations from 2018 to the current date.

I enjoy and like music, there is no doubt about that, my greatest dream, to be recognized at the national level and that I am gradually achieving. The Capsula Music will be the new face of urban music that the country will be able to count on for future urban musical productions.
