Post-

Post- is the eighth full-length album from Ambient music project The Silent Boy that was released on April 18th, 2018. It is also the eighth installment of The Dreamland Chronicles. Following the chiptune noise at the end of Diurnia, the album goes along a similar vein, but varies in its three distinct parts. Part one features solely chiptune and 8-bit sounds, part two is centered around FM synthesizer sounds, and part three caps it off with neoclassical music. The album follows the main character through a futuristic city in the body of a machine, his banishment when he develops nothing but disdain for technology and modern systems/culture, and helping nature to retake the city and awaken humanity. A companion EP, Re-Integrated, was released along-side the album on the same day.
