"Fingertips" is a song by Stevie Wonder. It was written by Clarence Paul and Henry Cosby. The original studio version of "Fingertips" was completely instrumental. This was in september 1962 by Tamla Records on the album The Jazz Soul of Little Stevie released.

In the framework of the Motortown Revue joined Wonder in June 1962 to the Regal theater in Chicago after a performance of "Fingertips" was actually the gig ended, but Wonder began suddenly to play again. [1the then recorded version was on the album The 12 Year Old Genius and was released as the fourth single from Wonder in 1963. With the b-side of the single, titled "Fingertips, PT. 2", he reached the first place in the American charts. There were more than a million copies sold. [2]
