Folklore: The Escapism Chapter (stylized in all lowercase) is the fifth extended play by American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift. It was released exclusively for streaming on August 21, 2020 by Republic Records. This was Swift's first EP in 12 years. It was the first of the four compilation playlist of songs from her eighth studio album, Folklore.
