Freddie is the fourth studio album by American rapper Freddie Gibbs. It was released on June 22, 2018. The album features guest appearances from 03 Greedo, Cassie Jo Craig, and Gibb's daughter, Irie Jane Gibbs.
The album name and cover is an homage to Teddy Pendergrass and his 1979 album, Teddy.
Overview[]
Little is known about the development of the album, other than Gibbs and his manager Ben "Lambo" Lambert were serving as executive producers of the album. The album had no promotion or announcements of any kind, and hours before its release, Gibbs released an infomercial-styled promotional video to announce its release.
