George Ezra Barnett, known by his stage name George Ezra, is an English singer, songwriter and guitarist from Hertford, Hertfordshire.

He rose to fame in 2013 after the release of his famous single "Budapest" which reached number one in various countries.

Early and personal life[]

Ezra was born and grew up in Hertford in Hertfordshire, England. He attended primary school in Bengeo. In 2011, he moved to Bristol to study songwriting at the British and Irish Modern Music Institute. He has an older sister, Jessica, who accompanies him on tour. He also has a younger brother named Ethan who is also a singer and songwriter under the stage name Ten Tonnes.

Ezra has revealed he suffers from OCD.
