"Green Shirt" is a song recorded by English singer-songwriter Elvis Costello and his backing band the Attractions. It was originally released in January 1979 as the fifth track from Costello's third studio album, Armed Forces.
It didn't get released as a single at the time Costello released the album, but in 1985, the song saw a single release to promote The Man: The Best Of Elvis Costello.
