Helen Reddy (Melbourne, 25 October 1941) is an Australian singer and actress.
She is often referred to as the "Queen of Pops of the 70 's". She had international success, especially in the United States where they have 15 singles in the Top 40 of theBillboard Hot 100 was. Six of those 15 numbers came in the top 10 and three of them reached a number 1-listing. Reddy was the first artist to the American Music Awardfor Favorite Pop-Rockwoman won. Currently, she is the first Australian who won a Grammy Award with her song I Am Woman .
Reddy was also very popular in Netherlands. In 1981, she appeared on the programme ' Madrid ' by Mies Bouwman.
Helen Reddy had her own tv show on an American network. This show was broadcast in more than 40 countries. In 2002 she took farewell and started a practice as a clinical Hypnotherapist. She currently lives in Sydney.

Reddy became known as ' feminist icon '. Her song " I Am Woman played a big part in the second-wave feminism.
