Her Brothers is an alt-pop trio band made up three brothers from Vancouver.[1][2]

History[]

Her Brothers was formed in 2006 by three brothers namely Gabe Penner (lead vocalist and guitarist), Josh Penner (bassist), and Levi Penner (drummer) right from their parent’s basement in Vancouver, Canada.[3]

In 2015, Her Brothers released their debut album titled SHE.[4] The band have shared the stage with notable acts like Colbie Caillat, Francesco Yates, and the Barenaked Ladies.[5] They have performed at Abbotsford’s Canada Day celebration, and toured Alberta through a partnership with the organization Mighty Peace Youth for Change.[6]

In August 2018,The band released a video for their single, Human.[7] They also released a video for their single Wake Up in September 2018.[8]

Philanthropy[]

Her Brothers have organized fundraisers, including benefits for Fort McMurray and Rwanda, and the Surrey Firefighters Charitable Society.[4]

In 2017, The trio performed a free concert at the new Langley Events Centre Amphitheatre and donated all the proceeds from their merchandise sales at the concert to the Red Cross for northern B.C. wildfire relief. [1]

Awards[]

In April 2015, Her Brothers became the only band to ever win the annual Langley Has Talent competition.[4]
