After XTC's strike with Virgin ended, they set up their own label. In the US, it seems to be distributed mainly by TVT (though Caroline seems to have gained the rights to the Virgin-era stuff from Geffen), and in the UK, it's distributed by Cooking Vinyl. XTC is the only act on Idea, though Andy Partridge's APEHouse releases records by other acts as well as his own demo CDs.
