It's All Over Now is a song, written by Bobby Womack and his sister in law Shirley Womack. It was first released in 1964 by The Valentinos, Bobby Womack, the group that part and was a modest hit (94 in the Billboard Hot 100). The Rolling Stones had their first number 1 hit with this song in July 1964.

It's All Over Now is a single by the English band The Rolling Stones.

During the first tour of the Rolling Stones by the United States in June 1964, made the New York disc jockey Murray the K to the song by The group the Valentinos. The Stones were excited and felt it fit in their own repertoire. On 10 June they took the number into the Chess Studios in Chicago. It took the manager of Bobby Womack to get quite a bit of trouble getting his consent for the recording of the song by the Stones, but when Womack later royalty Bill got, he told his manager that the Stones were allowed to record each issue of him that they wanted.

The plate took out first place in the UK Singles Chart and was the first album of the group that came this far. Netherlands was also in it's All Over Now the first number one hit. In the United States came the plate to number 26 in the Billboard Hot 100.
