John Anthony Gillis, known professionally as Jack White, is an American singer, songwriter and producer. He is best known as the lead singer and guitarist of the rock duo the White Stripes until they split in February 2011. He is also the member of the rock band the Raconteurs, as well as the supergroup the Dead Weather. He made his solo debut with the single, "Fly Farm Blues" in 2009. His first solo album, Blunderbuss was released on April 23, 2012.
