Kyle Gass (born July 14, 1960) is an American musician and actor best known as one half of the comedy rock duo Tenacious D with Jack Black. Black and Gass are the sole consistent members of the band (while being supported by other musicians for tours and studio recordings as needed), with Gass serving as the primary guitarist of the band as well as providing backing vocals. He is also the founder and frontman of the Kyle Gass Band, a supergroup comprised of members of Tenacious D's touring band as well as other well-known musicians.
Within Tenacious D, Gass also goes by the names K.G. and Kage.
