He gave the same year as a single out. It comes from his studio album with the same title . It was the result of collaboration between Green, music producer Willie Mitchell , mixer Terry Manning . Should there being the result. On both sides of the Atlantic took the high sales. In the United States it took first place in the Billboard Hot 100 (and therefore obviously a number one position in the list Soul). In the United Kingdom won in 12 weeks instead of seven as the highest rating. Netherlands and Belgium were not for this version.

The song became a hit again in the rendition of Tina Turner . This was from 1982 working on a comeback that first did not want to come off the ground. Capitol Records did not feel this was already somewhat older artist. However, the success of this single if they continue to work on the album Private dancer to sell more than 12 million sold.

It took the U.S. not figures of Al Green, it reached number 26 on the Hot 100. In England it was 13 weeks in the list with the highest number 6 spot. Now shared Netherlands and Belgium have in the success.
