Love on Ice were an American rock band formed in Portland, Oregon active in the early 1990s.

History[]

Career[]

The band first recorded and distributed their own four-song EP, the self-titled Love on Ice in 1990. After being signed to Interscope Records, one of the tracks from their EP, "Showdown", was included in the soundtrack for the 1991 film Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey. A year later, they released their debut album, Nude, which yielded two music videos: "Don't Leave Me" and "Leave Me Alone". Over the next two years, the band began writing and laying down tracks for a second album that ultimately never materialized and broke up due to lack of support from their label.

Post-breakup[]

Vocalist Dan Krueger went on to form the band Old Lady Litterbug, with whom he put out a 7-track EP titled KMG-365.
