Mathis Quentin Gamonnet, known professionally as Mathis Gamme, is a French independent singer and songwriter. They originally posted song covers on their YouTube channel and on Soundcloud. They debuted on November 6, 2021 with their first single "100th Drug".

2021–present: Early work and debut[]
Gamme's debut single "100th Drug", was released on November 6, 2021. They started writing it in August 2021, and began composing the song as a joke, as one of their friends challenged them to write a song dealing with alcohol. Prior to August, they've released a cover of "Problem" by Ariana Grande on their Soundcloud page. In between, they've made a cover of "Butter" by BTS. Mixing the single in October 2021, they announced their debut in late October before releasing the debut single "100th Drug" on the 6th of November. At the end of December, they released "ce qu'on a partagé".

Gamme didn't know what to write for the song but a bet from one of their friends seemed to be the inspiration for the lyrics: ″While composing the instrumental for the track I didn’t know what I was going to express...one day with some friends, one started to joke about a song dealing with alcohol. I took it very seriously″. Gamme declared[1]. "Ice Cream" shows many pop elements, putting them in the spotlight as a pop singer. Mathis Gamme has done a collaboration with another artist, Eldoubleyouu, for the track "Right Person, Wrong Time". It displays Mathis's other features in terms of singing and rapping[2].
Gamme has been described as a pop artist. They cite Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga and BTS as their idols and main musical inspirations. Their other influences include Olivia Rodrigo, EASHA, and Thomas Sanders.
