Michael Adam Mills is an Australian musician and songwriter. He is best known as a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and main songwriter for the progressive rock band Toehider. He began songwriting at an early age, and performing in bands from the age of 12. He was a member of the band Template, before forming Toehider in 2008 with the release of the eponymous EP and the "12 EPs in 12 Months" project. He has recently appeared as a guest vocalist on the Ayreon album The Theory of Everything, with his performance being cited as a highlight by many reviewers.

He has drawn praise for his powerful, emotive voice and vocal range. He has cited Bruce Dickinson and Ian Gillan as vocal influences. His vocal range spans four octaves from low C to soprano C.
