Mumford & Sons is a British folk/rock band. They have been nominated for several Grammy awards for The Cave.

Mumford & Sons was started in 2007. They named it Mumford & Sons because the most visible member of the band was Marcus Mumford. Their first project was an EP called Love Your Ground. Later they came out with an album called Sigh No More. They became particularly famous for their single, Little Lion Man.

In 2010, Mumford & Sons received Grammy nominations: Best Rock Song for Little Lion Man and Best New Artist. While they didn't win, they performed their song, The Cave, which was nominated for Song of the Year and Record of the Year in the 2011 Grammies.
