NYC 1978 was released by King Biscuit Entertainment on August 19, 2003 as part of the King Biscuit Flower Hour Archive Series.
Background[edit][]
Tommy Ramone served as the drummer on this recording. He left the band soon afterwards, although he continued to work with the other members as a producer and manager. This was his last album as the Ramones' drummer.
In 2004, the album was re-released again on Sanctuary Records with the title "Live, January 7, 1978 At The Palladium, NYC", and with new cover art.
