Nu tändas tusen juleljus is a Christmas song, written and composed by Emmy Köhler, and originally published in 1898. Through the 20th century, it became one of the most sung Christmas songs in Sweden in homes, churches, choirs, schools and Kindergartens.
Agnetha Fältskog and Linda Ulvaeus recorded the song on their 1981 joint Christmas album with the same name.[1]
