Sabaton is a Swedish power metal band from Falun. Their lyrical contents are mostly about war. They are considered one of the "big four" power metal bands, along with Blind Guardian, Helloween, and DragonForce.
History[]
The band formed in 1999 under the name Aeon, and went under that name until 2001. They recorded 4 albums before a big lineup change in 2012. Past those years, there have been small lineup changes and they have released another 6 albums.
