Sarah Michelle Herrera (born July 26, 1999) is an American punk‑rock bassist and singer‑songwriter from the Bronx, New York. She is best known as co‑founder and frontwoman of The Tommy Lasorda Experience and for her solo releases on Insurrectionary Records NYC.
Early life[]
Herrera was born in The Bronx to a Colombian father and an Irish‑American mother. She discovered punk music while attending The Bronx High School of Science, where she formed her first bands.[1]

While in high school, Herrera performed with several underground punk outfits—including RAPE!, Exploited Cocks, and Vomitsemen—gaining notice for her energetic stage presence.[2]
The Tommy Lasorda Experience[]
In 2024, Herrera co‑founded The Tommy Lasorda Experience. Their debut album There May Have Been Others (2025) showcased her frenetic bass lines and lead vocals.[3] The band followed with two further LPs and multiple singles in 2025, earning acclaim for chaotic live shows.[4]
Solo work[]
Signed to Insurrectionary Records NYC in 2024, Herrera released the EP I Give to the Poor So I Can Have Something to Steal (2025) and her debut solo album The Fool Escaped From Paradise (2025). Her solo material blends raw punk attitude with melodic songwriting.[5]
Other projects[]
Herrera also plays in Pancreatic Cancer, whose debut LP Yelling “Freebird!” At Funerals was issued in 2025.
Personal life[]
Herrera is a competitive nine‑ball pool player[6] and has spoken publicly about her experiences with dyslexia.[7]
