Slow Train Coming is the 19th studio album by singer-songwriter Bob Dylan that was issued in August 1979. It was Dylan's first Christian album.
The album was well received and the song Gotta Serve Somebody was Dylan's first number one hit in three years. Dylan won with the song even a Grammy Award for best male rockperformance. The album achieved a # 2 position in the United Kingdom and a # 3 position in the United States.
