The Gentle Lunatic EP is the first extended play (EP) and the second release overall of Ambient music project The Silent Boy that was released on June 13th, 2011. It catalogs the emotional journey of Ophelia from William Shakespeare's Hamlet. It was a departure from its predecessor, Mother Songs, and employed more electronic and experimental sounds, along with being wholly instrumental.
