The Life of Pablo is the seventh studio album by rapper and recording artist Kanye West, released on February 14, 2016. The album became the first ever streaming-only album to go platinum.
The album's name and tracklist went through numerous changes before release. West's erratic activity on social media became the source of several controversies. The album was released exclusively on the Tidal streaming service.
Even after it's official release West made multiple updates and changes to the album. These updates included new and improved mixes and new tracks such as "Frank's Track" and "Saint Pablo". By June 14th, 2016, the album was declared completely finished.
