Kam'mryn Watson, known professionally as The Maap, is an African-American DJ and songwriter. Born in Gardena, California and raised in the Inland Empire, Watson has been continuously refine his music, merging hip hop, rock and pop music to give vibrant birth to a new genre, which he christened "bed-rock-pop". He also founded his own record label, named Money Ain't a Problem Entertainment in 2020.
Personal life[]
Watson was born on May 27, 1999 under the name Kam’mryn Ja’son Lewis Watson, to his mother Leatrice while his father was not publicised. In 2017, he scored the highest SAT's at Rancho Verde High School and received both academic and athletic scholarships. He currently attends at Georgia State University.
