Band History[]
The Presidents have been around for awhile, though they've taken one hiatus in their career. Granted, that hiatus was punctuated by lots of solo activity, so they've never been quiet. They're known for their sense of humor (after "Weird Al" Yankovic parodied "Lump" with "Gump", the Presidents took to ending their performances of the original with "And that's all I have to say about that" from the parody. They're also known for their unique instrumentation, which can be summed up by one of the band's mottos -- 3 guys, 5 strings.
