Bitter Sweet Symphony[Edit][]

' Bitter Sweet Symphony ' is the most famous song by The Verve. It gave the British formation, however, a bitter aftertaste. The song contained a sample of the Orchestra version of 'The Last Time' by The Rolling Stones. This was initially with the approval of the Stones themselves, but when the song came out found Allen Klein (who possesses the rights of ' The Last Time ') that the sample there is too thick on top of lag, and complained The Verve. The rights were assigned to his ABKCO Music, which licenses some of The Rolling Stones. The result was that The Verve had all the money it earned to the times that the song had to pay back was turned.
