The Yardbirds are an English rock band, formed in London in 1963. The band is known for its influential role in the 1960s blues rock and psychedelic rock movements. The Yardbirds served as a launching pad for the careers of three of rock music's most famous guitarists: Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, and Jimmy Page.
