Towfique Ahmed (Bengali: তৌফিক আহমেদ); better known as CK Toff[1]) is a Bangladeshi composer and musician. Towfique Ahmed also known as ck toff (Charon Kobi Towfique-চারন কবি তৌফিক). He is notable for his fusion of Rap Songs. He is co-founder of music band Rajotto. His famous songs are "Desh O Durnity", "Khepa Gaan", "Slogan", "Protissruti[2]" "Bidrohi[3]"Etc. Towfique's sees music as an instrument to bring in the society. He believes it is possible to make awareness through music, specially with Rap Poetry and Recitation. Politics, corruption, class system, religion can't be accounted as bars for freedom for survival.

Carrer[]

He and his band realised two albums already. His first album Rajotto(2010) and Second album Dasotto (2014). His band member is Faisal Roddy. Faisal Roddy and Towfique met in London back in 2007 and, found they share a similar kind of philosophy to see the world with their musical eye. In the albums Rajotto & Dashotto, the duo wrote and tune the songs together where Towfique Sang and Rap and, Faisal Roddy appeared as a Singer.

Rajotto[]

His first album RAJOTTO was recorded at Hi Street Studio, UK. British Musician Gareth Redfarn has composed, mixed and mastered the album RAJOTTO. There are 8 tracks in this album. "Bidrohi" is the hit song of this album.

Dasotto[]

Second Album was recorded at Khilji Road, Mohammadpur, Dhaka at Pebble Studio Workstation. Music was composed, mixed and mastered by Md. Afzal Hossain Tamim. There are 10 music tracks in this album. "Slogan" is the hit song of this album.

Early life[]

Towfique was born and brought up in Khulna, Bangladesh. He attended Khulna Public College in Khulna and Jhenaidaha Cadet College.[4] Then, he went to the United Kingdom in pursuit of higher education and studied L.L.B at the London Metropolitan University in London.

Concerts[]

He has performed in Dhaka, Khulna and Chittagong. While staying abroad he performed in London, Cambridge, Manchester.

Personal life[]

Towfique is a Lawyer. He is taking care of his father's chamber. He got married with Fariha Islam Tropa in the year 2011.Son of Late Freedom Fighter, Comrade, Advocate Firoz Ahmed, an social and political activist. ,His mother Tayeba Khatun, worked for Bangladesh Sishu Academy who always inspired him to furnish culturally.
