Will Wood is an American singer-songwriter, filmmaker, composer, and comedian. Will has released 7 albums, 3 of which were released under the moniker "Will Wood and the Tapeworms." He has used many different instruments such as keyboards, guitars and ukuleles.
Wood's style often changes from one song or album to the next. When recording in studio or performing live with a band, he has mostly been accompanied by "The Tapeworms", which has primarily included Mike Bottiglieri on guitar, Matt Berger on alto saxophone, Mario Conte on drums, and Vater Boris on electric bass, but according to liner notes on his albums has included many others in different lineups. He mostly performs solo, combining music and stand up comedy, but his shows with the Tapeworms are known for being high energy and theatrical.

Will Wood is known for being a private person, having quit social media some time after his song I/Me/Myself went viral on TikTok. He's known for having early in his career fictionalized his life or appeared in character in onstage and in interviews. But he is also known for being open about suffering from addiction and mental illness, and about his recovery. He can also do a front flip from a standing position.
Before he began his solo music career and as far back as his teenage years, Will Wood played or sang for a variety of bands, such as Jamface and Strange Thick, of which mostly just demos exist. Jamface's recordings include the "24-hour album challenge" where they challenged themselves write and record entire albums in 24 hours. Will also played and sang, and wrote some songs for A Verbal Equinox, and The Stereosexuals alongside Jon Maisto, which both have released albums/EPs. These bands stopped playing together before Will began his solo career, but according to the documentary "What Did I Do?" and live stream Q&As, he began working with Tapeworms members Mike Bottiglieri, Mario Conte, Jon Maisto, and Jim Horvath in these bands.
